Academia

I am teaching courses and seminars in Computer Science at the University of Tübingen since 1999. I am now with the Institute of SW Engineering.

The nerd

I do some programming and recently have released my first GitHub project. It was an insightful excercise to create an audio AI detection of rooster craws (you read it right, we do have a crazy rooster in our neighborhood) on a Raspberry Pi 5. Most of the programming was done using ChatGPT (mainly 4o, but partially also o3-mini-high). It was an enlightening - and partially shocking experience as more than 95% of the Python code was AI-generated using an "ask and refine" approach.
